| Merry Christmas ,
I love the holiday season! Our lighted herd of reindeer are in the backyard again this year for our enjoyment. This year the Grinch is hiding out back there, too. Finn's been very suspicious of him. I had to attach the Grinch to the tree, so now he doesn't bounce around as much in such a dog-threatning manner. LOL!

Candles, snowflakes and penguins go in the front. Here's a glimpse of them making their trip from the shed in the back to the front yard.

Inside, the tree is decorated, the nutcrackers are guarding the fireplace, and the Christmas village is on the mantel. We finished early and sent out all the Christmas cards. A huge thank you to those of you who sent me a card. I absolutely love that! And of course, all of them get strung along the mantel.

Deb tells me that I tend to go overboard buying toys for all the neighbors' and friends' dogs. I know. Okay, it is a deep box, and you're only getting a view of the toys on top, but in my defense, there are a few in this box for our pack, as well.

Whatever your holiday favorites and traditions are, I hope you'e able to take some time and enjoy them.

BUT WAIT! WHAT ABOUT THE NEXT CREED BOOK?
Many of you have been asking about "Chasing Creed." I'm still in the writing phase, so I don't have a publication date for you yet. My mind has been traveling from Pensacola, Florida to Vardaman, Mississippi and up to David City, Nebraska. If you were at the VIR luncheon you heard a bit about the book, but I don't think I've talked about it here on the newsletter. So, here's a brief synopsis.
Do you remember the woman named Iris Malone ("Lost Creed"), who kidnapped Brodie? Iris has been in prison, being held without bond. Her trial is getting ready to start in Nebraska.
A reminder: Brodie wasn't the only little girl Iris kidnapped. There were others she'd taken and renamed Charlotte, trying to replace her own daughter who had died young. Brodie is still haunted by the others, remembering some of their desperate words scribbled and hidden in Iris's large farmhouse that became their prison. She still sees them in her nightmares.

No one knows how many girls were taken. Or what happened to them. No one knows, except Iris Malone. Now, as she gets ready for her own trial, the woman is hell-bent that no one is left to testify against her. She's hired not one, but two, assassins to make sure there's not a single surviving Charlotte, including Brodie Creed.
Of course, the entire cast of characters will be back: Brodie, Ryder, Jason, Hannah, Maggie along with Grace, Scout, Hank and Kitten.
