Here’s a brief description of the book:

While Ryder is searching for a missing boy in Santa Rosa County, Florida, Maggie is investigating a possible serial killer in Washington, D.C. Of course, their paths collide.

This one is filled with all the twists and turns you expect to see in my books. Deb says it has some of the most suspenseful dog search scenes I’Ve written. And she’s one of my toughest critics, so that’s a huge compliment.

Ryder is back in the Florida Panhandle.

The last book (FALLEN CREED) was in Nebraska. This time Ryder is back in Florida. This neck of the woods always fascinates me. It’s where pine trees meet palm trees. Where you can walk through a forest or on the sugar-white sands of Pensacola Beach. Where you need to watch out for black bears AND alligators. Here’s a photo of the woods back behind the Waffle House on Avalon Boulevard where one of the first searches in the book takes place. Now, imagine hiking into those woods after midnight.
