Happy Spring! I hope it’s starting to look like it in your neck of the woods.
We’ve had quite a bit of excitement around here. The Westie pack adopted a Jack Russell terrier!
She’s seven months old and only nine pounds but so sweet and precious. Okay, she’s a little sassy, too, but what do you expect? She’s a terrier! To quote Shakespeare, “Though she be but little, she is fierce.”
She was rescued with a group of other Jack Russell terriers. We don’t know all the details, just that they spent the first months of their lives in puppy mills. The way that she happened to come to us seemed a bit amazing, and so of course, we named her Grace. As you can see, on her very first day she surveyed the lay of the land like she was meant to live here!
I have to admit, I’ve never personally known a Jack Russell. Creating my fictional Grace has come from research with me combining personality traits and quirks of my own dogs. This little girl has a personality all her own. She’s super smart, friendly and loving and can jump about two-miles high!
I can already tell I’m going to learn all kinds of new Jack Russell traits. One thing for certain, we’re all in for some wild adventures. And of course, we’ll be sharing those along the way.
So, here’s what else is going on.
GET CAUGHT UP
If you’re a little behind reading the Ryder Creed series, the ebook for FALLEN CREED is now available for $.99 on my website and all ebook retailers. It’s only for a limited time, so grab a copy or if you’ve already read them, please share with a friend.
You can now buy ebooks direct from my website. The ebook is the same quality, and its very easy to download it to your favorite eReader. So, what’s the difference if you buy direct? The author (ME) keeps a bigger percentage of the money – which keeps me in dog food! 😂
By the way, I always include STRANDED with the Creed series because it’s the first book where Ryder and Grace (and Hannah) are introduced.
I know everyone is patiently waiting for MIDNIGHT CREED, and I know I keep saying it will be soon. We’re still shooting for early summer!
COME SEE ME IN PERSON!
